We recognized long ago that when businesses struggle, it has less to do with the company itself and more with the philosophy and approach of those at the helm. Put another way, your results (or lack thereof) are a symptom. We focus on the root cause.
It’s why we don’t just focus on the “what” and “how” of your company. Any organization can teach facts, data, principles, concepts, strategies, and techniques. What makes us different is that in addition to all of that, we delve into the “why.” Our proprietary approach is built on sound philosophical and psychological precepts that allow companies and their team members to become their true, authentic selves — allowing them to focus on maximizing personal and professional peak performance.
Our Why-centered approach leads to a healthier work environment. It helps maximize the connection between upper management, co-workers, and, most importantly, their customers. The results? Companies with happier team members who are doing extraordinary, fulfilling work, leading to unprecedented profits and prosperity.
Meet Drew Cameron,
Founder, Flow Odyssey
A Heart Attack Taught Me There Had To Be A Better Way.
I grew up watching my father almost work himself to death.
As the child of a father who operated an HVAC business, I got a front-row seat to the struggles, headaches, and heartaches that come with running one’s own operation. Growing up in the business with my siblings, we saw the challenges my father endured; The long hours, the missed family dinners, the relationships lost, all in support of wanting to best help his customers while also building a life for the family he loved.
From a young age, I developed a complete understanding of working in every facet of and running a residential services business — I developed a passion for sales, management, marketing, and the core competencies of operations, administration, leadership, financial management, and pricing. But what I fell in love with wasn’t the running of an HVAC contracting business — it was the process of helping companies and co-workers improve their lives and maximize personal and professional performance. And so after years in the family business, working for the utility company that acquired our company and later a national HVAC consolidator, I started my own successful consulting and sales training and coaching firm.
Even while working to help others improve their lives, I was following in my father’s footsteps — working long hours, neglecting my health, sacrificing personal relationships, all with a focus on sprinting to the next opportunity. That was until my heart stopped and I was shocked back to life 5 times after almost dropping dead of a heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest on the first day of a family vacation in 2019.
As I was in recovery, reflecting on my situation, my father’s heart attack at age 59 in 1994, the loss of my younger brother at 38 in 2006 and older brother at 55 in 2018, it dawned on me that my own experience was emblematic of the contractors I worked with. They, too, were endlessly working themselves to the bone, sprinting from opportunity to opportunity without stopping to truly reflect on whom they wanted to be and what matters most to them, and doing the same for the co-workers.
It was then that I began to see that the work we do shouldn’t be a sprint at all. It should be a marathon. A journey. If you will, an odyssey where business owners and co-workers should focus on learning how to stay in the flow of life and discover how to be profitable while also developing healthier lives and better businesses that lead to happier outcomes. Build a business that is omni-beneficial.
It’s why we renamed our business Flow Odyssey and why we do the work that we do the way we do it.

Meet the Flow Odyssey Team
Vice President, Flow Odyssey
As Vice President of Flow Odyssey, I believe in challenging myself, our team, and our clients every day to better ourselves.
I like to consider myself the Yang, to Drew’s Ying. Though our styles are different, our psychology and philosophy have been the same in approaching the work that we do and the results we can get for our clients. Those who work with us know that they can count on us to show up every day ready to work and make an impact.
As one of the country’s most successful Comfort Advisors in the mid-90’s, I utilized my insights and unique knowledge of buyer psychology and sales to help sales forces across the country. I soon began educating and coaching in-home sales and service advisors to understand the critical skills necessary to achieve results far exceeding personal mindset limitations and corporate expectations.
While most trainers preach about product and process, I’ve always focused on teaching and coaching my sales and service proteges to not only focus on the work they do in the home but, more importantly, why. This question leads to the purpose of allowing my students to discover the secrets to building a secure connection based on a position of trust, confidence, competence, and credibility. When matched with the creative execution of a process developed to work with human nature and how people want to buy, it yields explosive growth.
I joined the Flow Odyssey team in 2011 as Vice President, helping clients enhance the performance of their entire business and transcend growing one person or department at a time. Alongside Drew, I work in the trenches with clients in every facet, building successful home services businesses.
Clients have embraced my detailed holistic approach to assessing a company’s people, present state, and potential. Drawing a blueprint for success, I collaborate with clients onsite, online, and on-the-phone to achieve operational excellence with a hands-on strategic approach to growing people and implementing profit-based processes and systems.
Executive Assistant, Flow Odyssey
I joined the Flow Odyssey team in March 2014 as an Executive Assistant, where I provide consistent support and reinforcement to our Senior Leadership. Leveraging my varied accounting, communications, marketing, and project management background, I directly handle all financial matters such as client billing, accounts payable, and payroll. I also routinely assist in overseeing marketing strategy, client experience, and team scheduling and logistics. As the liaison to Energy Design Systems, LLC (EDS), I help facilitate marketing, sales, billing, and customer care of its software programs to EDS and Flow Odyssey customers.
I attended Emerson College before beginning a career-focused primarily in the field of accounting. While raising my children as a stay-at-a-home mom, I continued my education and received my certificate of completion for accounting at the University of Delaware.
When I’m not attending to my behind-the-scenes management responsibilities, I regularly attend education, leadership, and training seminars all over the country with the Flow Odyssey team.
What people are saying
HVAC Sellutions has helped us grow our highly successful plumbing business from having no salespeople to a total of six salespeople in less than four years and from almost nothing in HVAC equipment sales to multiple millions with double-digit net profitability. Drew has helped recruit, hire, and train everyone of our salespeople, our Sales Manager, and our Sales Coordinator and has provided us with the tools, knowledge and resources for us to continue our exponential growth, expand our product offerings, increase our service territory, and achieve our vision of being the premier residential services company in the Greater Hartford area."
Aiello Home Services Windsor Locks, CT
Drew, I thought you would like to see the final shot of our scrap bin; 14 systems in 1 week. A new company record. And we made 17% net on the week. In fact, we have had company sales records 8 months in a row, which means we will have a record year. We are achieving everything I knew we could, and are doing so faster than I expected with your help. Thanks for all you do.

Drew delivers a sales seminar worth seeing…I was thoroughly entertained and left wanting more.
Adams Hudson, President & Marketing Genius
Drew is the shining light for us to follow. By the way, I know Drew would never say this but I have seen sales departments that he has personally set up. When I ran my contracting business I thought managing a TEAM of salespeople was next to impossible. Drew showed me that it was not only possible, but it is the reality that he creates everyday for those lucky enough to talk with him.
Joe Crisara, HVAC Dream Maker & President
Big Time Business Development
In a field of self-appointed 'experts', Drew is a consummate professional who has truly lived the business.
He was born into the HVAC trade, worked his way through, was 'front line' during the consolidation run-up, worked for a multi-location franchise, became a Best Practices trainer. Whenever he wasn't learning 'on the job', he passionately sought self-training, melding his vast experiences into his own, uniquely packaged training. And this is where Drew has flourished.
Drew is always willing to give a bit more, commit to unlock the real solution to client needs. And see them through to the end with passion.
Having attended this class with professional sales personnel from outside of the HVAC industry, I can truly appreciate its effectiveness as a turnkey solution for beginners. Our first attendee sold over $60,000 in residential replacement his first 3 weeks with zero HVAC experience prior to this class and was on track to sell over $800K his first year with double digit net profits..

Hey Drew, just wanted to thank you for the training we received from you and Russ. It's nice to get a fresh perspective and not the same old stale sales training. I especially enjoyed the mindset and positive thinking points. Too many people lack that in their lives. Best wishes my man!
Sales Manager Honeys Air and Solar
Drew helped me hire a few of our salespeople and trained them as well. I found his materials and style to be very engaging, entertaining, and educational. If you hire someone with sales ability and mechanical aptitude, Drew can make them a successful HVAC salesperson very quickly.

Talk to Drew Cameron. Never in my life have I tried techniques that work as good as his. I actually look forward to making sales calls.

We are just completing the training of one new salesperson & we are currently recruiting (2) new ones. I had tried it myself a few times & had horrible success. I went to a seminar and met a sales trainer/consultant who is incredible! His name is Drew Cameron (Flow Odyssey), and he is capable of recruiting, screening, technical training for salespeople, sales process training, and ride along with coaching. He can take a person who knows nothing about the HVAC business and turn him into a real star. I am extremely happy with his performance so far.

Hello Drew! My name is David V., and you had mentioned it would be ok to reach out for some recommended suggestions you had regarding the elimination of anxiety. I had explained how the negative thoughts I experience with worrying can have its toll! I want to take my game up a level and I need a more positive mindset to achieve the next step. I want you to know I was able to connect with your teachings which is normally hard for me because of a brain injury which often blocks out my ability to focus while in a classroom environment. Thanks for the uplifting experience!
